The lemons have been picked and trucked off to the packing house, the summer fruit trees are beginning to drop their leaves, as are the sycamores, the leaves on the berry vines are turning color. Just as the orchard is transitioning into dormancy and fall……
APPLES!!!
hot temperatures over the past fortnight have caused some of the apples to drop and bake right on the ground
time to bring them inside to enjoy
perhaps in a pie,
or simply sliced with a bit of cheese
DELICIOUS!!!
