Gearing up in neutral

‘Sensory overload’:  the best way to describe the way I feel in January about all the decorations and colors and lights that went along with the holiday season.  My eye longs for calm:  open spaces, pared down accessories, simplicity, neutrals……..

As I am gearing up mentally to tackle new design projects in 2014, I want my studio to be a serene, inspiring space in which to work.  The palate which has accomplished this goal:  khaki, black, white, grey, energized by Tiffany blue and touches of reflective gold.
