Update from The Wolery…episode 16a

We are officially obsessed!!!  Just at dusk we positioned our chairs so that The Wolery (translation:  barn owl box) was silhouetted against the darkening sky.  Wrapped in blankets we waited…we were not disappointed.  From behind us, on silent wings over the roof of the house came the owl, landing atop the box.  As we savored the sight, a second owl appeared from the same direction – we have a couple in residence!!!  Both flew into the nearby oak, chatted briefly, before one flew into the box, the other not to reappear before darkness enveloped the scene.
