Our last full day in St Petersburg, July 7, 1995. Tomorrow we fly to Stockholm, then home to Santa Barbara on the 9th. We have seen many amazing sights in the city…(see part 14)…
St Peter and Paul Fortress across the Neva River from the Hermitage,
life-size statue of the bigger than life, Peter the Great
Air and Space Museum
the Rostral Columns on the spit of Vasilyevsky Island
and another look at the Church on Spilt Blood – named for Tsar Alexander II, assassinated in 1881 where the church stands today.
