Interesting….they must be some type of mushroom????
Maybe…….they are hard, but light, and fall off when pushed.
My guess…….the blank bumps are a different kind of mushroom/fungus. Be sure to wash your hands afterwards…..IF you touch them.
Oh that egret…….SO BEAUTIFUL!!
I only touched them with a stick – pushed a bit and then they detached from the log…………. The egret is amazing!!
