Tale from the Wolery

Venturing out on a blustery evening,

we sit side by side on the wooden settee,

Just as it seems the box will fade from view against the night sky, an owl flies over and into the box, greeting its mate inside.

Now in the second year of occupancy, we have become much more relaxed about our tenants, not going out as often to watch for them….but still thrilled, when we do,  to see them come and go before dusk becomes night.
