Emerging from the fog……of waiting, wondering on so many levels,
into the twilight of my life…..life to be lived, cherished, experienced to the fullest.
A favorite quote speaks eloquently to the hearer:
“It is in the gathering twilight that we finally see the colors.” -John O’Donohue
Although our world is still blanketed by pandemic, we can emerge, at least, from its grip on our senses – a choice to be made. Beauty remains; perhaps now experienced in a different way. Creating beauty in our individual ways, whether it be in our own spaces, our interactions with others, or the beauty of inner peace….all can be expressions of that which is most beautiful: love.
He has sent me….
“….to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”
–Isaiah
May this Christmas season as well as this season of your life bless you in profound and unexpected ways.
With love and wishes for a special Holiday Season for you, Bruce and your family. Your words are always special and especially now.
Your AZ cousin.
Merry Christmas 🎄 dear Susie. I think about you so often because of a post you left on one of my Facebook posts. I hope all is well in your world. As well as can be expected in this colourless Christmas time. I have been trying to keep a positive attitude. This is wearing me out and the fact that we will not be spending Christmas with Seana’s family (she has too many people…3 teenagers and of course Sam). I look after Sam every day and have for the last 5 years so i can have him and his momma and daddy over and will Christmas Eve. Not quite the same but…..it will have to work. Without him around I can get pretty depressed but he makes me smile even laugh 😂. God sends me angels
I send you my love 😍 Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy New Year 🥳 lets HOPE for a happy new year
Thankful for this wonderful reminder that from the ashes God creates beauty in our lives. Thankful for you!
Thank you, Susan, for sharing your beautiful insights…..and photos.

LOVE love love O’Donohue! Blessings in abundance to you and Bruce at Christmas.
