Having visually soaked up the amazing green of the Pacific Northwest, I am now reflecting on another regional color statement……ORANGE! Perhaps in an attempt to counteract the many gray days, orange is everywhere, even enlivening the exteriors of building and bridges.

Since spring seems always to come early in our part of the world……….already thinking about ways to bring freshness and sunshine inside.
Twigs, dried grasses, feathers, bird nests……all have served me well through fall and winter with a beauty all their own.
Now I am craving
searching the mental archives for inspiration,
recalling a visit some years ago to Winston Flowers in Hingham – loving their curated use of living plants and cut flora.
