Tones of blue…exploring color

RULES ARE TO BE BROKEN…..

there was a time when various tones of blue stood alone – only the shade being changed within a single pallet

the various tones now co-exist happily side by side

Fast forward faces

Recently I shared pictures of Chinese babies, so fresh-faced and adorable.  We also photographed some faces toward the other end of the age spectrum.  The same adjectives do not apply, but they are fascinating nonetheless.  I would love to hear the story of each and every one…

Babies…Chinese-style

We all speak the same language when it comes to babies!!!  All smiles, words and gestures translate to ‘cute’.IMG_1696

Farmers market…Chinese-style

Recently visiting a local farmers market, enjoying the vivid colors of freshness and the comfort of abundance, I was reminded of the visual feast of farmers markets in China.

New again……..

As anticipation has now turned to recollection and reflection, we begin a new chapter in our lives.  Change is an integral part of and constant ingredient in the human condition.

So embrace the seasons of life!

My response is to change and grow with the seasons.  What more fun way than to change up my surroundings and make them new again.  All summer I have worked outside in anticipation of the wedding, so today I decided on a fresh look for my dining room and set about gathering blue.
