although not dressed as colorfully as some, this ‘Portlandian’ has a heart of gold…
he treated my two cousins and me to this last piece of the best almond cake on earth!!!!
According to the proprietor he treats someone each week – if you are in the right place at the right time……….!!!!
Visiting Portland for the first time, coming from the land of drought to the land of green….Saturday farmer’s market was a delight!!!

Recently visiting a local farmers market, enjoying the vivid colors of freshness and the comfort of abundance, I was reminded of the visual feast of farmers markets in China.
A bit different than our usual fare, and in some instances a bit fresher!
