Evocative of childhood………the Snickerdoodle!  Just the name brings floods of memories…a neighborhood filled with children, big wheels, hot wheels, tricycles, bicycles, three flies up, mothers exchanging recipes…

On a recent visit, having only heard about the cookies from her Dad, my granddaughter asked to make them.

I unearthed the original recipe shared by my neighbor so many years ago.

Off to Junior Lifeguards the next morning; Snickerdoodles to share packed in her lunch bag. 

A current memory made; a tradition passed on!
