WILD LIFE AND WILD FIRE
Over the years we have had many close encounters of the wild kind:
Living where we do we are always on the alert for other things of the wild kind – this one was a bit too close for comfort:
family and friends came to help us evacuate
Borate bombers were a comforting sight
ash and night falling as we drove away
(Thankfully, no structures were lost in this particular fire which occurred several years ago.)
